About Us

Who We Are
Zalewski Legal advises businesses whose products, operations or projects depend on technology. For international clients, our role is to help address the Polish legal issues in a contract, public tender, technology deployment or commercial project.
Our work extends beyond the IT sector to businesses in media, energy, rail, industrial automation, automotive, space and defence. We advise on established technologies as well as new applications, including AI and blockchain.
We help quickly and practically solve legal issues that arise when building, implementing, scaling, and using technology-based products and services.
Our philosophy is simple: pragmatic advice and a focus on measurable results. We provide concrete guidance for decision-making, not lengthy opinions and memoranda. We facilitate decisions—we don’t multiply doubts. Instead of well-worn templates, we seek solutions that actually work—streamlining processes, shortening project timelines, and reducing risk. We put the client’s interests first.
We work with in-house legal teams, business leaders and lawyers in other countries. The starting point is the decision you need to make. We then identify the legal work needed, explain the options and recommend a course of action.
How We Work
- Whenever possible, we recommend a pilot project for clients—a clearly defined trial assignment with an agreed timeline and scope. This allows you to quickly assess our advisory style, communication approach, and cost-versus-value ratio. It’s a safe path to deciding on broader collaboration.
- Clear and to the point—we speak plainly about complex issues, eliminate unnecessary opinions, and focus on the information needed to make decisions. Through plain language and legal design principles, we shorten project timelines and facilitate implementation of agreements.
- Flexibility and partnership—we tailor the collaboration model to the project: quick ad hoc interventions or long-term support with an agreed rhythm and KPIs. We establish key expectations (contact, deadlines, billing) at the outset to avoid misunderstandings.
